My Life Locker is an organizational system designed for life. The 150 page book is organized into 4 sections (Lockers), acting as your personal mobile filing cabinet, keeping
all your critical information in one safe place. The My Life Locker book (Canadian Edition) debuted in Fall 2010, selling at local retailers around Canada's Capital Region and in the online marketplace. The My Life Locker e-Book (Canadian + US Edition) debuted in Fall 2011. Other products from My Life Locker include My Password Locker and My Student Locker.
With offering peace-of-mind and security solutions, an identity and brand design was established to express My Life Locker's objective. The icon features an abstract human figure and a keyhole. The interaction between these two symbols create an embrace between two human figures. Security is the main focus of the icon, given the nature of the product. Second is simplistic form, in order to be memorable, iconic and recognizable. To keep the message clear, the type is set in the simple and structured DIN. Colour selection is yet another vital aspect of the logo. The grey symbolizes security while the gold symbolizes control, power and success.
The book is structured into four colour coated sections, labeled as lockers. Each locker covers a number of related categories, using specially designed, simple forms to safely record specific information. Each locker and category has its own icon, derived from the icon used in the My Life Locker mark. This creates a visual hierarchy system so the user can effortlessly keep track of which locker and category of the book they're in.
